Fons (source)
- RISM-Siglum (without D for Germany), followed by shelfmark: Kl 2° Ms. theol. 93
- for RISM-Sigla see separate list
- where needed, supplementary signs are added to the shelfmarks (e.g. for fragments); these are given in [...]: Kl 2° Ms. theol. 10 [F2]
Typus (type of manuscript)
- for the abbreviations see separate list
- form: first syllable, including consonant(s): Miss(ale); Grad(uale)
- suffix Not means "notated": BrevNot, MissNot
- suffix F means "fragment" AntF, BrevNotF
- Diurnale/Nocturnale/Vesperale etc. are listed as Brev/Ant, with further specification in the column Notae
Provenentia (provenance)
- indicates, where possible, the place of origin and/or place of use ("ad usum") or recent ("rec." = recentior) owners
- form: land, place, institution (D, Neresheim, OSB; D, Trier, OSB St. Maximin); or land/region (I, Nordtalien; D/CH, Oberrhein)
- "?" means: no information or unknown, or "doubtful" (Augsburg ?)
- for the abbreviations see seperate list (names of religious orders, terms)
Saeculum (date)
- if there is more than one possibility of dating, the older date is preferred
- Centuries are indicated with arabic numbers, then the period (if known), for example:
- 14i = 1301-33, or first half, or first third, or first quarter
- 14m = 1334-66, or second third, or second or third quarter
- 14x = 1367-99, or second half, or last third, or last quarter
- 14xs = 14./15. c.
- Precise dates, if known, are given in brackets after the period, for example:
- 1400 is given as "14x (1400)"
- 1353 is given as "14m (1353)"
- ca 1350 is given as "14m (1350ca)"
- 1400 is given as "14x (1400ca)"
- 1353-1358 is given as "14m (1353-58)"
- 1398-1404 is given as "14x (1398-1404)"
- before 1353 is given as "14m (1353a)"
- after 1353 is given as "14m (1353p)"
- if a manuscript comprises parts of different age(s), the younger parts are mentioned with dates in "Notae" (e.g. Nachtrag s15i)

- references to extant listings or books in which the manuscript is mentioned
Notae (notes)
- for any kind of notes and specifications
- also for:
- pars hiemalis / aestivalis
- of leaves for fragments (2 fol.); double-leaves are counted as 2 fol.
- specifications, when required (especially for "Typus": e.g. Missale festivum; Diurnale/Nocturnale etc.)
- reference to younger parts in manuscripts, with date (Teile s16i; Nachträge s14x)
